About Adam
Experience and judgment to guide the decisions shaping Weston’s schools.
I’m running for reelection to the Weston School Committee to continue building on the progress already underway—and to help ensure that the complex decisions facing the district are handled with experience and judgment.
A lifelong commitment to education
Education has been the focus of my entire career. I began as a classroom teacher and coach, working directly with students in middle and high schools. That experience continues to shape how I think about teaching, learning, and what students need to succeed.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve worked across the education sector—partnering with schools, nonprofits, and organizations to improve outcomes and navigate complex challenges. Today, as co-founder of an education-focused firm, I work with leadership teams across K–12 and higher education to help them make better decisions and deliver results.
Experience leading complex decisions
The work of the School Committee involves complex, high-stakes decisions that affect students, families, and educators across the district.
In my professional work and on the School Committee, I’ve been responsible for leading those kinds of decisions—balancing priorities, resources, and long-term impact.
As a member of the Weston School Committee—and serving as chair this past year—I’ve been directly involved in the decisions shaping Weston’s schools today.
That includes helping guide work on:
A new K–5 literacy program grounded in evidence-based instruction
A new middle and high school schedule launching in Fall 2026
A district-wide strategic planning process to set clear priorities
Thoughtful integration of technology and AI in classrooms
My focus has been on turning priorities into action—and ensuring those efforts lead to measurable progress for students.
Deep roots in the Weston community
My family and I have been part of the Weston community for many years. I’ve been actively involved in local youth programs, including coaching Weston Youth Soccer, and I serve as a trustee of EXPLO, a nonprofit that provides educational programs for students from around the world.
Serving on the School Committee requires balancing many perspectives—and making thoughtful decisions that reflect the needs of the entire community. I’m committed to continuing that work in a way that brings people together and keeps students at the center.
A balanced and disciplined approach
Serving on the School Committee has reinforced how important it is to balance strong schools with responsible financial stewardship.
I bring experience leading complex, high-stakes decisions that involve competing priorities—ensuring we invest in what matters most for students while maintaining long-term sustainability for the district.
At home in Weston
I live in Weston with my wife and our two children, both of whom attended the Weston Public Schools through eighth grade. Being part of this community, both as a parent and a School Committee member, continues to shape my commitment to ensuring Weston’s schools remain strong for all students.
